Dr. DeJuan Knight was born and raised in the Louisville, KY area to Willie and Frances Knight along with his older brother, Kris. Having his grandparents--Harold and Ozema Knight--living next door, they played a major role in his child rearing as well.

Growing up in an SDA Christian home, he attended SDA schools for elementary school and then he attended college at Oakwood University, graduating in 2001 and 2003, respectively. He would go onto attend Andrews University SDA Theological Seminary where he would graduate in 2005 and 2018, respectively.

It was also while there at Andrews University where he met the love of his life, the former Rochelle Browne, and they would go onto marry on July 1, 2007. To this union, God has blessed them with three beautiful children: Samuel (12), Daniel (8), and Sarah (3).  

DeJuan has had the privilege of pastoring in such varied places as Kentucky, Florida, and Alabama, and the Lord has blessed his efforts. One of his favorite passages is found in 1 John 3:2 which says,

"Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is."
